"You are not your thoughts" - Amber Rae

Interestingly, when I saw this sentence uttered by this beautiful lady Amber Rae in her post You are not your thoughts, my first reaction was "what the..?", that sounds so split-personality..

I then paused for a moment, & read through her post once again.  I could feel something resonating inside me when I recall those words "You are not your thoughts".  I think I understood the message.  It's not really to deny our own thoughts & treating it as someone else.  It's about not to be chained down by our inner voice or any limiting beliefs about what we are capable of or how we should only do certain things that make us look like "ourselves" even though we may feel unhappy or "wrong" in our usual everyday life.  Of course that doesn't mean we have to start doing wacky, crazy things, or anything terrible.  It simply meant that we are actually not limited to what we "believe" we are (those little voices inside our head when we self talk..), how our lives should be & give up exploring further to pursue the life we truly wanted deep inside.

Personally, this mindset helped to relieve some stress from the idea of failing in my business & having to start all over again in the 9-7 way, but no more being young, updated & competitive in a few more years.  After all, those were just my perception of how things may turn out should my plan turn sour, which is of course not definite & certainly not the only path I can take IF that day really comes.  I guess the main limitations then will be my resolve & my imagination about what else can be done.

Thanks Amber Rae for your beautiful wisdom.
