Today, grandma was dignosed with Alzheimer's Disease & mild stroke.. needs medication to slow deterioration for 2 years & the rest is up to fate & grandma.. God please bless grandma with good health till the last day..
Dear dear also just got to know she's having hair problem as well... doubly upset.. why are those around me having so much problems in this 1 month..including myself..? Everything's coming at the same time... it's kind of overwelming for me to handle emotionally & financially.. everything seems to be going out of place... what's wrong...? Including some fucking stupid annoying things happening at work.. Can I live a life without all these worries..?

It's been confirmed after doing some trial & error tests. Last few days was still shaky until this morning when all the clouds are cleared =) I'm glad heaven arranged another more accomodating person for me.. It has taken me by surprise for this new destiny ^^ It was still pretty stormy early this morning when I wake up at 6:50am & I had totally no clue I'll say goodbye to my singlehood within the next 24 hrs; we ended last night with some unpleasant sms that made me feel like 'The End..' before I can even start. That felt bad even though it was not even started.

The girl I'm after for the past 3+ months has started to accept me more for the past 1 week. We have been sms-ing each other all day, trying to know each other better before committing to this relationship; feels like a job interview session stretching 1 week. Both of us had lost faith in the typical BGR.. but I have this fondness for her, she's the only girl I met for the past 2 years that is within my radar for soulmate. I saw some similarity between the 2.. I don't know what I want.. maybe I choose not to know.. But from this moment on, I know what I need to do. The best way to forget about the last is to start another relationship.. it may sound unfair but I'll compensate her with my heart & soul.. I shall leave you from now..

Been a busy year at work..

Grandma seems to age faster lately; with hardly anyone to chat with her now whenever we were out to work.. I hate this feeling of not being able to do much more, that's why I can't let my work take up more of my current time. For those who've been sincerely trying to waste more of my time working or at least hoping me to work more OT/overnight, FUCK OFF!!

A new year 2010, a new job

Time flies, another year had passed. This is the start of 2010 & myself turning 32 soon.. Life is really like a dream; 31 years already behind don't feel that long after all, and that makes another 31 probably feeling the same or even faster. It shouldn't be long before I'll reach my retirement age of 50s-60s.

I hate to imagine myself without my own family by that age, but I'm already starting to think what will happen if I still can't find the right person to spend the remaining of my life with. 40 is just 8 years away from now.. But as I've told myself; everything will pass in a 100 years. Nothing is too big a deal in life, depending on how little or much meaning you gave to it. I'll still hope for the better though in this coming new year. Starting from tomorrow in my new work place, new colleagues & new career prospect once again. Unfortunately it's working hours were bit too long as compared to my previous jobs; I guess I just have to live with the-even-lesser personal time now for the sake of my career & financial goals. I can do it!! Even if without you by my side anymore. I will definitely succeed in attaining my goals & eventually live the life I want!

在我世界里的新年越来越没气氛了。是因为年纪越来越大，对一切都失去了新鲜感？还是自己的内心越来越不快乐了。。？曾几何时这可是我一年之中最盼望的日子。。可是自从公公在2000年去世以后，就越来越平淡了。因为公公是位相当注重传统礼仪的中国人，所以我们家都会有很多礼节要遵守，也因此而特别吧？

在这一刻，我才察觉自己好像从未写过任何关于公公的事，也很少向认识的人提起。。

在印象中，公公是位健壮、爱喝酒但不酗酒、严格、有威严、有远见、天不怕，地不怕，又刻苦耐劳的知识分子。并不是他受过什么高等教育，他的学历好像只是小时读过几年书罢了。而是他凭着自己的努力和数十载，慢慢地从书籍，报章，以及其它媒体中认识了更多的文字和学问。自我有记忆以来，公公每天一大早都会在客厅的窗口旁，边喝咖啡，边看报纸。从文学、国家大事、宗教礼仪、经商、到中草药等都难不倒他。公公的博学、勇气、远见还有好多好多都让我非常的佩服和敬佩，虽然小时也有受过公公的许多教训和责罚，但当时都不了解其中的道理。

现在31岁的自己，早已视公公为最尊敬的对象。

Was reading up on financial news about the recent market crash & recession. How fortunate it is for me to be involved at this period of time. News reported it as worst financial crisis since the Great Depression in 1929-1930s. Not being sarcastic; had some heavy losses from the crash too, though it's still within my risk tolerance. Fortunate because it's a very valuable experience for me as an investor & person. Learnt a great deal from some terrible mistakes I've done. It's true that we "can" learn more from our losses than wins, provided you understand & practice it.

Just as I was frowning thru the tonnes of aweful news, one wonderful piece of email from Carol came just in time to pull my soul back to ease again; almost lost it to the unforgivingly wild & opportunistically marketplace. Here they are..

Humans aren't created to love just one forever by nature... Those who do faithfully love just one in their lifetime are errors & flaws of the nature.

Out of a thousand couples, how many dares truthfully say they have only one other person in their heart. If given the freedom to have more than one, will they still choose to be with only one life partner? I doubt so.. at least for the majority; be it a male or female. After all, humans are also animals similar in some ways to those living in the wild. Bear in mind our very 1st ancestor could be living on treetops; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human

That's why law comes in to intervene with marriages (before any couples are announced LAWFUL husband & wife) as a form of "contract"... To MAKE SURE marriage aren't taken lightly. Once you do break that, you'll have to pay for it.. BY LAW... If humans do love only one life partner by nature, will there still be a need for law to "bond" couples together? Just to prevent one another from committing "adultery"; so called by law..

There's nothing wrong with having more than one in your heart, I never say it was. But you just have to let go of the "rest" from your life & stay with only one, until the day you break the "contract" again to be lawfully single once more.

Nothing has value to you until you give meaning to it. That applies to relationship as well...

其实我想了这个问题很多年。。。
记得在大概三、四岁的时候吧？有一个问题一直想不通。。。
当时站在家门外不知在干嘛。。。只是望着眼前的一切，
想着：“为什么我看不到别人看到的东西呢。。。？”
我第一次发现原来自己是一个个体、是特别的
（当然世上每一个生物都是。。^^;;）。
虽然好几年后我还是搞不清楚为什么？
慢慢，我想我懂了。。。

My Super Duper Plan 2008! Latest update version

I'm back to freelancing 3D modeling & animation ^^. It's been a rather fruitful half year in another industry fulltime learning something totally new to my career; looking at life & career from a totally new perspective as well. To me, it's not at all easy to do the switch. But in conclusion to all that, I would say I've grown & matured pretty much during this half year compared to my previous 3 years. I'm still growing though, don't be mistaken.. As I'll still be working as a Financial Consultant part-time. Frankly, I'm pretty excited about the outcome of juggling 2 totally different jobs in the near future. Will find a balance between the two, it's never meant to be easy. But hey, even if it doesn't turns out the way I wanted eventually, I'm not going to lose a single slice of my flesh! Take some risk occasionally if you wanted something unexpected in your life. 但快乐过后，当我一个人走回家时，难免会想起一些陈年往事。才慢慢发现自己并不是真的很喜欢孤单。。。我不是怕。其实自中学以来我都是比较独来独往的，虽然还不至于与世隔绝。。。

努力、坚持、信念，真的会让我如愿以偿吗。。。？现在我还是这么想的。。。

接下来的日子。。。我将面对可能是打从娘胎以来最大的一连串考验。。。结果会怎样呢。。。？只能听天由命了。。。走一步看一步吧。。。可是最起码我一定要在事业上成功。。。不能再犹豫了。

昨晚在Simei地铁站附近工作时，我动摇了。。。

已经少了一个主要支撑我向前冲的理由。。。之前一大半的坚持不懂跑到哪去了。我应该不是一个那么容易放弃的人，而且已经付出了几个月时间、努力和金钱。我不甘心，可是我真的好累。。。每天都做着一些自己不擅长又不怎么喜欢的事。最近我常问自己到底为了什么、真的只有这条路吗。。。？

你有梦想吗。。。？多数的人都应该有想过吧。。。通常在小学上作文课的时候，老师都有给我们写过类似的课题。。。可是我忘了自己写过什么。。。不好意思。。。但很肯定的是，应该和现在的我所做的完全不一样。。。换句话说，我极有可能没朝着小时候的梦想前进。我偏离了可能在一生中最单纯时的想法。。。我变了吗？还是我长大了。。。？什么才是真正的自己。。。？真的有‘真正’的自己吗。。。？我想我会说应该没有吧。。。可能大家也有过类似的经验和疑惑吧。。。我不知道。。。

能够达成梦想是多么可欲不可求的事。试问有几个人有这种毅力和运气能够让梦想成真？那可以是家庭、事业、理想或更多更多。。。有太多的东西须要做妥协了。往往你要达成一件事，你就得牺牲掉另一件或更多。。。你能够承受得起那种失落吗？还得冒着可能不顾一切后的失败。。。然后做个平衡，不顾一切的继续往前冲。。。？我尝试过几次。。。很不好受。。。刚开始时非常困难。努力了一段自己设的期限，可是还做不出什么的时候，很多负面和矛盾的情绪就会跑出来把自己吞噬掉。。。如果有亲朋契友倾诉、鼓励的话还好，要不然就准备和所谓的忧郁症做朋友了。。。能否从低谷爬出来就要靠你自己和一点运气了。。。多看报纸、到图书馆或艺术馆走走看看是一些非常好的解忧方法，总之别把自己困在家里发呆，胡思乱想就好了。。。

我放弃。。。

十月 18日 2007 - 人生的感触

阴天下午

生命的无常。。。刚刚目睹一起交通意外。一架电单车骑士被撞个正着，躺在马路中央，动也不动。。。只看到一大滩血从头盔涌出。。。众人围在旁边不知如何帮忙。。。有的打电话，其他的想办法抬伤者上车送他去医院。。。生命的脆弱与无常。。。不到最后一刻没人能预料会发生什么事。。。包括我自己在内。。。未来会是如何呢。。。？好想知道、又同时害怕知道。。。其实我们能够真正掌握的部分并没有很多，也当然不会很少。。。尽量争取吧。。。剩下的就顺其自然好了。。。

你玩过‘单脚’吗？刚从新山过来‘新’，在Kranji下了车。因为要打电话给一些Prospects所以找了一个较少人走动的角落。。。那也是曾经属于我和她的一个小地方。。。回到原先的话题。当我在翻着记录本找电话号码的时候，眼角飞来一只残而不废的‘八哥’。它只有一条修长的右脚。。。这是我29年来第一次看到单脚的小鸟。很好奇的我就一直看着它在干嘛。。。它的动作明显比其它健全的鸟笨拙、辛苦。。。可是它一点都没因为自己的‘不足’而放弃做一些‘高’难度动作。它的每一步都比幸福的小鸟来的不易。每一步都得半蹲才能跳前一小步。当时它眼前出现一堵‘墙’(Kerb)，它用力伸长了头设法看看‘墙’的另一边，可是不够高。。。我以为它会放弃然后离开。因为那堵‘墙’还高过它的头，再来它的单脚也应该没那么多力跳上去。。。（当然它可以飞上去，只是当时觉得它不会那么大费周章）它犹豫了一会儿。不到几秒，它做了一个超低的下蹲，用尽渴望吃虫的力跳了上去，间中还拍了拍翅膀，它跳上去了。。。
‘墙’的对面是辽阔的大草地，它又不顾一切的跳了下去。。。不出我所料，它摔了个大跟斗。。。可能对它来说已经是小意思、家常便饭了。它只是躺在地上，踢了踢那树枝般的小脚，然后翻了翻身子，就站回了起来。。。紧接着就一步步地在草丛中觅食，渐渐的不见了踪影。。。
